Penelope Holdings is a multi-company portfolio, with an affinity to pet related enterprises. The human animal bond drives a strong investment and demand environment, with pet ownership rates higher than ever. Current portfolio companies:

• A SaaS company in the veterinary software space, with ARR of $3.5MM, and a 100%+ growth rate YoY. It is now expanding to additional healthcare verticals. It support 1500+ customers with 95%+ retention
• A tech enabled DEA compliance consulting startup, with 150 customers and growing, prototype software built. The founders are industry leaders in the consulting domain
• A pet wellness supplement startup, working with one of the largest manufacturer / suppliers, aiming to disrupt how we can treat our pets for anxiety, gut health, and joint pain and inflammation

Penelope Holdings is currently hiring for a manager or director of business operations. The ideal candidate is someone who can learn and execute at the same time across a wide spectrum of responsibilities, managing projects, products, execution, learning the ins and outs of running a mature business while having chances to build out and scale newer ones

Experience is learned better through practice, and this is the perfect opportunity for the right individual. The goal is after 2-4 years, the individual has experienced and gained the skillsets and capital, should they desire to start their own venture

• Base + Bonus in total will range between $120K-$150K for the first year depending on experience, and has material room to grow as portfolio companies mature, which is expected given ARR growth rate projections 
• Equity will be granted in tranches each year, across portfolio holdings, with a targeted exit valuation in total $1MM++, contingent on holding company performance
• This will include a material tranche upon sign-on, plus annual top ups aligned to personal and portfolio performance

The individual should consider this role as a startup manager / leader-doer, and will be expected to balance multiple objectives across potentially more than one holding co, situation dependent. Expect ~55-60 hours a week on average. Travel may be, but is not limited to one to two times a quarter. This role is remote with some face to face meetings dependent on the situation

Qualifications: Excellent problem solving skills coupled with thoughtful and strong execution is a must; 2 years of management consulting experience with 2-3 years of work experience post undergrad is ideal; experience building, managing, and scaling teams is a very nice to have
